The Buttkicker Gamer 2 comes in a few different boxes that hold some of the contents together. What comes in the package is the all the cords needed to connect each piece together; the audio controller box, a remote, a stand and the BUTTKICKER!….and also instructions. I was a bit overwhelmed at first when trying to put the device together. I got lost in the directions because many of the actual names for the cords, I had no idea what they were and the diagram for the device was a bit not accurate because it showed all black cords, when the device had some colored ones included. But after figuring it all out then I was set.

The Buttkicker is a simple device that it is meant to connect to a chair, preferably a computer chair since it has the bottom base to hold it in place. When you adjust the device to the chair, it is very sturdy and held on great. The device works for all systems and PC, but here is a negative, this device only works with component cables. There is no HDMI support on the device, so if you don’t own a pair, you would have to get the cable for your preferred system.

But once everything is set up, you can pop in your favorite game and let ‘er rip! I played a few matches in one of my favorite first person shooters and let me tell you, The Buttkicker literally kicked my butt. I felt every single shot that I gave out to my opponents and also felt every damage shot I took. I really felt the pain of the game avatars. So the Buttkicker did its job!

Overall, The Buttkicker Gamer 2 is a great device for gamers who are really wanting to get into the experience of the game. You really do feel everything that is happening and it really gives you a in-game experience that you won’t forget. But putting it together, if you are a novice technical person, it may be a little confusing to put together but once you do, it will be worth it! Live the Game, Feel the Action!
